For a young adult who wants to learn about how small business works and become an expert craftsman in specific areas of marketing, such as social media, digital storytelling and audio/video creation, there’s no better place than Vertical Immersive! Beginning in their 2nd year, students enjoy paid work experience at Vertical Studios or an external organization in their area of interest. They graduate with a resume boasting real-world work experience, and a portfolio to prove it.
The core Vertical Immersive program is completed over 2 years, with an optional 3rd year full-time paid apprenticeship.
First and second year students (Climbers and Scalers) focus on 4 critical areas of development within an immersive learning environment: Workforce Skills, Business Application, Leadership Competencies, and Faith & Life Skills. These areas of focus are intentionally woven throughout all classes and events, and reinforced through individual coaching and development.
Third year students gain a year of real-world work experience in a paid apprenticeship, with continuing coaching and developmental support from our staff within 1 of 3 Pathways: Entrepreneurship, Business, or Ministry.
